Throughout the years, Christy
Canyon has retired on numerous occasions, however these retirements
never seem to last very long. And every time she returns, we are

star. First appearing on the scene in 1984, Christy won the hearts

A California native,
Christy was born June 17, 1966, and holds an associates degree in

discovered in 1984 by a guy named Greg "Rocky" Rome, who used to be
in the adult entertainment industry. He met her in front of the
apartment building where she was living at the time and told her she
would be a great model. In September of 1984 Christy started
modeling, the first magazine she appeared in was an issue of
"Velvet" in 3-D. Christy really liked modeling from the start and
later said "It was pretty cool to see myself in my first layout, no
less in 3-D!".
That same year she
did her first X-rated movie. In several interviews Christy claimed
it was On Golden Blond, but actually that was not the case. Christy
first appearance in adult video in a loop on the Swedish Erotica #57
tape. It was a group sex scene with Ron Jeremy and another couple.
The next day she
made her first feature video for Paradise Visuals in a video called
"Night of Loving Dangerously". This title is no longer available in
the U.S. because of the presence of the underage Traci Lords.
Christy immediately followed
with "On Golden Blonde" for that same company and her career as an
adult film star was on its way.
Although
Christy isn't currently making anymore new movies, she has mode
numerous titles over the years and also appears in a large selection
of compilation titles, including a few of her own such as Totally
Christy, Deep in the Canyon and the newly released Deep in the
